The East Limestone Football Field was officially named "CAVNAR FIELD" last night in a dedication ceremony before the game. Coach Cav's parents, Ron and Doris Cavnar, joined brothers Randy and Michael (Coach C) and Michaels's wife Tonya on the field for the presentation. Presentations were made by Prinicipal Dennis Black and Autumn Manley. Several Limestone County Board members also attended the ceremony. After the ceremony, the Indians added their stamp of approval with a 40-7 win over the Douglas Eagles in a Region 7 contest. Marchas Glover rushed for 175 yards, and Chad Dewitt rushed for 105 yards and passed for 134 yards to lead the offense. The Indian defense held the Eagles to 41 yards rushing. The Indians host the Guntersville Wildcats next Friday in a key Region 7 contest.
